Available Transit Services

PARATRANSIT MINI-BUS

  • Eligible riders in Cheshire, Middlebury, Naugatuck, Prospect, Thomaston, Waterbury, Watertown and Wolcott may use North East Transportation’s ADA and Non-ADA Paratransit services.
  • ADA paratransit services are available seven days a week, and cost $3.50 per rider per trip.* 10-ride coupon books are available for $28.
  • Southbury is serviced by non-ADA paratransit Monday – Friday from 9 AM to 4:30 PM, and cost $3.50 per rider per trip.

DIAL-A-RIDE MINI-BUS

  • Eligible riders in Cheshire, Middlebury, Naugatuck, Prospect, Waterbury, Watertown, Wolcott and Woodbury may use the free Dial-A-Ride service, also operated by North East Transportation.
  • Cost of Dial-A-Ride: FREE

APPLICATIONS TO USE THE MINI-BUSES

  • Riders must be certified through the CT Department of Transportation to use these services. Follow this link to the CT Department of Transportation certification page to complete an application, and to learn more about the application process.
  • Interested parties may also contact North East Transportation directly to complete an application, at 203-756-5550 or via email at ADA-Appnetco@ct-transwb.com.

*Riders residing in Naugatuck may be charged $7.00 instead of $3.50 per ride, depending on their pickup location.
