The GWTD Dial-A-Ride transportation program was created under the Municipal Grant Program for Elderly and Disabled Demanded Responsive Transportation, CGS §13b-38bb.
Service Details
Currently, seven Greater Waterbury Transit District municipalities and the Greater Waterbury Transit District Board of Directors apply for the grant to provide coordinated transportation in our region for seniors and persons with disabilities.
Residents of any of these seven municipalities may use the Dial-A-Ride service free of charge. Service is
limited to particular days per week for each municipality due to limited resources.
